1: Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage : Is a book, written in 1959 by Alfred Lansing, details the nearly two-year struggle for survival of the 28-member crew of the Endurance ship when the ship was surrounded and finally crushed by icebergs in the Waddell Sea, people were trapped on the packed ice. And the crew has been on the ice for over a year. Eventually they managed to navigate their boats and somehow they managed to land safely on Elephant Island.۔ Sheckleton then led a five-man crew aboard James Caird from Drake Passage, miraculously reaching the island of South Georgia, 650 nautical miles away. The two men then made their first successful overland crossing on the island. After three months later, he finally managed to rescue the remaining crew members that he had left on Elephant Island.
2: Moby Dick Or The Whale : is a 1851 novel by American author Herman Melville. The book is the story of sailor Ismael's obsessive struggle for the whaling ship Pequod ,Captain Ahab, to avenge the Moby Dick, the giant white sperm whale that was amputated by Ahab's knee in the ship's last voyage. It became known as the "Great American Novel,the book ends when the whaleship sinks in Essex in 1820. 5: Treasure Island By Robert Louis Stevenson :The plot is set in the mid-18th century, where an old sailor named Billy Bones, starts living in the village Admiral Bamboo.
He tells Jim Hawkins, the innkeeper's son, to look for the "one-legged seaman." A former shipwreck, called the Black Dog, fights with the bones and they get into a fight, which causes the Black Dog to run away. A blind beggar named Pew then visits the inn and delivers a summons to the bones called a "black spot".
Shortly afterwards, he has a stroke and dies. Pew and his accomplices attack the inn, but are confronted by excise officers, who trample Pew and kill him.Jim and his mother escape with a mysterious packet from Bones' sea chest, which is found to contain a map of an island on which the infamous pirate Captain Flint had his treasure. Jim shows the map to physician, and they decide to run an expedition to the island, in which Jim is working as a cabin boy. He travel to Hispaniola, under Captain Smollett.
While hidden in an apple-barrel, Jim overhears a conversation among the Hispaniola's crew which reveals that many of them are pirates who had served on Captain Flint's ship, the Walrus, with the most notable being the ship's one-legged cook Long John Silver. They plan to mutiny after the salvage of the treasure, and to murder the captain and the loyal men.
